Conflict of Interest Policy

In order to ensure transparency and fairness, all authors of lead articles are required to disclose potential conflicts of interest. The authors are required to complete and sign a statement regarding: the originality of the article; off-label use of drugs and treatments addressed in the paper; material and financial support received for the work presented; and disclosure of other financial support or potential conflicts as they relate to professional and personal activities. By disclosing these interests, the editors first and the readers later may judge for themselves if there is potential bias of the paper. The relevant specific financial interests, relationships, and affiliations are acknowledged in the manuscript.

The editor-in-chief and all members of the Editorial Board of the journal disclose their professional affiliations, as well as any participation as consultants or members of industry advisory boards, and other financial remuneration received from corporations or professional organizations. Potential sources of financial conflicts of interest are included in a signed statement that is periodically updated and held in the office of the GGH journal. Disclosures may be made available upon request to the office of the editor-in-chief (editor@GGHjournal.com).

The conflict-of-interest policy of the GGH journal includes relevant financial and non-financial associations and research support from all sources. Although many universities and other institutions have established policies for minimum thresholds for reporting financial and/or other conflicts of interest, the GGH journal policy requires a complete disclosure.

The support received by the GGH journal from Insmed is in the form of an unrestricted educational grant. The editor-in-chief and the Editorial Board bear full responsibility for the content and information published, and enjoy complete editorial independence.
